Women get away with this far more easily than men do, although this changing. Some people love to wear colorful Hawaiian shirts, but I'm not sure that these shirts are acceptable in the workplace, even if they allow business casual. Personally, I love Hawaiian shirts and think that for casual wear, they should be allowed everywhere as long as there are no ties required.
